30 famous people interviewed Faye Wong
For Fashion Bazaar magazine’s 10th anniversary, Faye Wong made the cover article for the first time in 7 years. Interestingly, the magazine found 30 famous people such as Zhang Ziyi, Yao Chen, Tsai Kang-yong etc to be ‘reporters’. Each asked Faye one question. Faye answered each of them in her trademark humorous style.
Zhang Ziyi: In the movies Chungking Express and Chinese Odyssey, your performances were natural, relaxed and attention-grabbing. Wong Kar-wai said you acted well. If you had a suitable script in the future with a role you were interested in and a director you liked, would you try filming a movie again?
Faye: Everything is possible, but the possibility of this is just a bit lower.
Yao Chen: In everyone’s eyes you’re like a person who doesn’t care about anything. So I’d like to ask what the thing you care most about is.
Faye: In this world, besides birth and death, everything is a boring topic.
Tsai Kang-yong: What’s the last time you were charmed? Why did it happen?
Faye: That’s easy. If you act cute, you can charm me. Ha!
Ning Cai-shen: What stage of yourself do you love most?
Faye: My present stage.
Shang Wenjie: What’s the tragedy of a composer?
Faye: Not knowing why she composes. If a person doesn’t start with a correct motivation, she will fail in the end.
Feng Zhaofeng: If you had an island, what would you do on it?
Faye: I hope to reach enlightenment on the island.
Ceng Yike: What kind of trait do you hope for in a good friend?
Faye: Being friends is up to fate. My friends are all very kind.
Li Yundi: Do you like Chopin’s music? Have you considered collaborating perfectly with a classic piano?
Faye: haven’t heard much about that, if the time is ripe, I’m willing to give it a try.
Annie Yi: Why are you as funny as a little boy on your microblog?
Faye: A little boy? I don’t know. This is what you think. Ask yourself.
